I'm having same problem, even with Navigator 1.00.05.

I'm on DNN 4.0.3.

DMX 3.03.01 and Navigator 1.00.03 worked fine.

Here is the bizarre thing: when using reflector against the dll that I've distributed I read the following under references:
Assembly Reference Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX
Version: 3.4.0.25559
Name: Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX, Version=3.4.0.25559, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
I've noticed in newsgroups that .net has problems with realizing that the reference 3.4.0.x where x increases should update the dll. Maybe a restart will help.

I'm working with a couple of clients to get this worked out. The latest thought is that maybe I've compiled against a too new version of DMX. If this proves to be true I have to review my development machine setup to avoid this kind of thing in the future.

Just wondering how you were getting on finding the solution to this problem.  At the moment I have gone back to a previous version, but this version doesn't like opening PDF files.

The origin of the problem seemed to be the way the development environment is set up here. Aparently the public DMX, having a smaller build nr than the development DMX, led to the navigator complaining about build nrs. The latest version of DMX should have a version nr that will allow the navigator to work again. Strangely enough this kind of thing doesn't happen for everyone.

How do I get the latest version?  Is it from Snowcovered.com?  It seems to only let you download it up to three times, so how in the future do I get the latest version?

Updates are released a patches on the Snowcovered site. The download counter for those is always reset when a new patch arrives. These patches are regular DMX versions that you can upload into your dnn site as a regular module. It will update the older version.

I am using DMX 3.4.6 on DNN 4.3.

Is this another dev environment compilation incompatibility issue?
