Hi
If I try to upload a .txt text document made in Notepad (Windows) I get the following error:
A critical error has occurred.
You forgot to select a file to upload.
Any ideas would be great.

Is new License required for Development server? 3783 1

We bought an Enterprise License for DMX 3.04.08 and we have installed it on our Production Server. I am trying to install it on the Development server and I am getting and error that there is an issue with license. Please let me know whether we need to purchase a new license for the development server or is it a matter of requesting a new license key for the development server

Can't get Activation to work! 3973 1

Hello,
I cannot get my Activation of the DMX Pro module to work because I don't have an activation key, and when I try to request one during activation, I don't get a response.
I have sent a few emails to Bring2Mind contacts at this point, and it's been two days and I haven't had a response and I need to get this module working! I’m not sure if I’m asking the wrong question or the wrong people.
My boss purchased the DMX pro module on snowcovered.com and downloaded it.

Peter,
I sent an email a few days ago about needing to move my DMX license to a new instance of DNN at a new IP. The server is still at our site, but on a new IP. When I attempt to insert the license info it tells me :
You have run out of activation keys. Please contact Bring2mind (infobring2mind.net) for a new license.
I am stuck & have people waiting to do their work.

We are upgrading our site from DNN 3.1 to 4.4 and because of the number of custom modules and 'clutter' on the site, we have chosen to build a new DNN site and migrate all of our date from the old to the new before going live.
What is the best process to migrate our large DMX installation with security roles to the new site

We want our subcontractors only to view documents which relate to them. Our customer should be able to see all of the documents from all of our subcontractors.

Version 03.04.06 have functioned without any problem on DNN 04.03.06. We have downloaded the navigator addon for dmx and become the error we need newer version so we have download the update and install on our portal.
We have become no error by the installation but the navigator is empty, we become often the error that a error occured by loading dmx and we press F5 to refresh the page to display the module. When we goes in the otption menu from the dmx instace we have a nice empty admin module ...

I've just installed Document Exchange 3 Professional 03.04.08 on my DNN 4.3.7 and activated it. I also have created some folders and uploaded some documents to the module.
The problem is, I can download the published files as Admin or Host, but general Registered Users are not able to download any of the files. I have just installed DMX and as far as I can see there are som iconfiles missing for files like mpg, mpeg from the installation files. There might be missing more file, this was just the first file I tried , but I think that most of them are there.

Hi. I'm just installed DMX 3.4.08 (NET 2) on DNN 4.3.7. The installation proceeds smoothly, and I am able to put an instance of DMX on a tab. But when I click on 'New Folder' or 'New Item,' nothing happens from a slight screen flicker. I can't add anything.
The installation produces no errors in the log. The repository folder exists under the portal folder. All permissions are in place.
Any ideas

I have DNN 4.3.6 running and have installed the latest version of DMX. All seems to work well, even indexing. But, I get an error every time I try to edit the categories.
A critical error has occurred.Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Any idea what this means and how I can go about fixing this

DNN 4.3.1 Support - Important 4107 5

There are some breaking changes in DNN 4.3 that make it impossible to have a fully functional DMX 3.4.4 run on this. We are working on a solution. It seems that we can no longer avoid a 'fork' in the code, i.e. a version for DNN 3 and a version for DNN 4. I would advise to hold off on upgrading to 4.3.1 if you're running DMX for now.
