DMX Module makes the page inaccessible (??) 2251 5

Hello, I have got a serious problem when adding a DMX module to a page. My versions are 06.02.01 for DNN and 6.0.4 for DMX. The problem is that when I add a dmx module to a page even without specific configuration, the page becomes 'inaccessible' for everyone except the host. I precise that the page remains visible in the menu but when the user clicks on the link the defaut page (home) is reloaded. If I delete the DMX module, the page becomes accessible as usual. Hi, I have a scenario that I hope DMX can provide a solution to. I have a bunch of pdfs. I'd like to categorize each pdf as it is uploaded into two different categories. Lets call them department and author. Documents would have to be able to have multiple department and author categories assigned during file upload. Peter, I am running 6.0.2 on DNN 6.1.2. I am trying to drag several files from one folder to the other. If I multi-select the files I can drag them as a unit and they move successfully. If I select one file at a time I can only move the first one. Every other file says 'Moved' but the file does not move. If I click on the breadcrumb to reload the instance, I can drag another file. Hi, The document title is currently the only mandatory field during the upload process. Is it possible to make other fields mandatory so users have to add content For example keywords, description, categories etc. I have managed to get keywords to be mandatory by manually adding an asp.net required field validator to the control but cannot do this for the other fields as they appear to be implemented with custom controls. Peter, Please add this as an enhancement - The subscription UI should allow not only users but also roles and email addresses (email addresses not associated with a user) to be added as a subscriber. For our application we have a custom distribution list in Exchange that should get an email notification on a file upload. We had to fake this by creating a dummy user with that email address. Hi we´ve been setting up the latest DMX on a DNN 6.2 installation for a client and just found out that the Letterbox module for DNN6 (1.3.0) requires Silverlight to function. We have 2 questions 1 - Is the SL based Letterbox iPad and mobile compatible 2 - Is it possible to use an older Letterbox non SL module with the latest version of DMX and DNN6 Please let us know. We would like to present the user with a really simple interface for adding files. I notice that there is an option in the control panel to 'Show Intermediate Finish in Edit'. Is there a way, either through templating or modification of code to skip the second step where a user sets the metadata/permissions Instead, we would want to just use the defaults and redirect back to the folder view (the default 'landing' page for the module).

I would like to be able to add an attribute to enable assigning a file to different people at the various stages of a document translation process. Rather than have to type the name in to a string attribute I would prefer to be able to show a select attribute of the registered users on the site. I am hoping that I am able to 'turn off' certain features by removing them from the menu that you see when you 'right click' on a document. I am also hoping that it is possible to ADD a menu item - which would be a hyperlink to a help page. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Why would someone be getting a Document Change notification which reads 'The following actions have taken place on documents you are tracking' The email goes on to provide the name of the file, who deleted it, the date/time it was done and then provides a link. So I have a directory that DMX is pointing to, with setting of 'Copy Both Ways'. The files have been picked up in the directory fine, and are being displayed in the DMX tool. A user decided to rename a file (from file manager) and when the DMX job ran, it deleted the file completely. So a little confused here.
