I am now upgrading templates from DMX 5 to DMX 6 and I can't find a way to select different formatting for alternate items in the list of entries. In the previous DMX version there used to be two separate files for entry items - ItemTemplate.resources and AlternateItemTemplate.resources (and similarly for log and version items). I used to have both templates looking the same except for the CSS class which way I could specify different formatting (in my case the background color) for the alter...

Is it possible to hide/format a block of code in the templates according to whether the entry has a given attribute set or not What I would like to set up: We use several attributes for most of our documents (such as 'Company number' or 'Valid from date' etc.) that are mostly strings or dates, not booleans. Hi, I have been trialing Document Exchange to serve files to our travelling employees, while access via a standard PC/Laptop using IE, opening/viewing any file works flawlessly, but when trying to view a file on their tablets they cannot open any file. Using the 'simple downloads' add-on works with no issues the files open in a new tab and the user can read them. In DMX 5 once you set the instance of the DMX module on a page and set the Root start folder, you could then right click on the root folder or from the menu Subscribe to it. This functionality is now gone in DMX 6 you can only subscribe to a sub folder. Is there anything way to get this back It was extrememly useful to be notified of any changes to any subfolder of the root.

Hi DNN 4.9.3,Doc Manager 5.2.9 We've spent weeks trying to get Document Manager to work for our client. Sometimes we can upload and download files, sometimes we cant. When uploading an old .xls file, it often works as it should. Same user, same browser, same pc another day and the upload results in server errors. xlsx files rarely upload properly, though they have been known to. Hello Bring2Mind, I am using Root Pattern and using a custom profile token &91;Profile:CustomerName&93;. It works well and we use it to assign groups of users to one folder. However, when HOST user clicks on that page, there is no custom profile for that user, and the page creates about 15 blank sub folders. Is there a better way to handle this In the meantime, I am logging in as ADMIN but others will log in as host in future. Maybe, I can phrase this differently, is there a way ...

Hi Peter, I found out that the categories are sometimes lost when editing item attributes. We use the wizard edit without the intermediate finish button. We have set up several categories in a hierarchical order, so there is one top category that includes two subcategories and they include many subsubcategories etc. When any item (that has some categories set) is being edited the editor must come to the Categories step due to the missing intermediate finish button. Cant upload files into a folder 2140 1

Install went perfect, activation went perfect, added folders and then went to add files. Files uploaded, I clicked next, and then update on the settings window and it came back with this error: A critical error has occurred. Could not find file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\support.phirecomm.net\Portals\1\DMX\Upload\20120124183728_abd717c80eef4b9a898f54b423bc1ba5.resources'. No files were added to the folder.
