Is there a way to list files within a certain category only I want to only display the category name with the list of files associated with that category directly below. I've modified the settings in the view template to not display file folders and to list the categories, but that did not produce the results I am looking for. Please advise. Column alignment in viewcollection for custom attributes 2605 1

We are having problems trying to get the alignment of columns in viewcollection.aspx. We have a number of custom attributes that are show but no matter what we have tried, we are unable to get the row values to align with the header. The column header seems to be ignoring the widths we specify for the columns. We are using categories on the admin page with the module. Is it possible to place the control on another page for general users, but hide or turn off the categories option when they go to upload a file. I want them to fill out the other stuff just not select any of the categories.

.exe file not completely downloading after upgrade to 5.3.8 2509 1

I am having an issue where once files are uploaded and approved they are not visible in the UI. The files are visible if looking at the folder path via windows explorer and can be found in the db. I have found that they are uploading with the LastVersionId=null, which seems to be the issue. I discovered this from going through the scripts and seeing that the RepairPortalStructure script fixed the issue. Ajax Error when uploading 4325 5

I have installed the latest version this week. Now I am having AJAX error when uploading. The error occures when I click next on the first file upload screen after selecting a file. The upload still seems to work after you click OK on the error. This is a serious issue for me at the moment. The issue only manifests in IE9 and IE8. Chrome and Firefox work fine. I had a DNN instance and I needed to split a site out seperately, it is the only done using DMX. Do I copied the entire instance over and removed all the portals except for the one using DMS however since then I have ran into some errors. We're having an issue where some PDFs hang when loading in the browser and never finish. We can reproduce this in all current browsers except in Safari, which seems to work fine all the time... We had this problem a few years ago and came up with a work around, but never actually resolved it. The workaround is to add '&method=Attachment' to the download links. This causes the PDF files to be downloaded to the user's machine instead of being opened via the Acrobat plug in. We'd like PDFs...

Hello I have installed Document Exchange and its working fine apart from when i place Document Exchange at the bottom of the page it scrolls to it on the load of the page. This is annoying for my users. Strangely when i change the view from AJAX to a template it doesn't scroll on load, i have tried to use JavaScript to stop the scrolling but yet to have any success. Hi Peter, I manually transferred some files from an old (DMX4) installation to our new DMX5 repository and also inserted the entry rows in DMX_Entries (as well as Shorttexts, Permissions, and Longtexts) - w/o INSERT IDENTITY. Many of these old entries were versioned so I also updated the LastVersionID column according to the new EntryIDs. We've been struggling with getting an upload with a progress bar to work. We've tried both CAupload and RADupload, and read posts on this forum as well as CA and Teleriks websites. Some of the information was helpful and enabled some functionality but still neither work properly.
