Hi Peter,
I tweaked the whatsnew.ascx a bit to make it meet our demands. So I added a clickable containing folder of the new items.
Unforunately the tag (sorry for my phraseology - I'm a real rookie in ASP...) as it is in the search results isn't available in What's New - so hardcoded it with DotNetNuke.Common.ResolveUrl('the page our default DMX instance is running in').
Works quite good in this portal, but now we want to setup at least one other portal - obvously this method doesn't work a...

Visibility problem with action menu 2690 3

Hi,
We use DMX&160;5.3.1 on DNN&160;5.4.4.
We have got a problem with action menu which shows the 'Control Panel' entry for registered users. They only have view permission but this entry appears.
If they click it, an empty panel is shown.
How can we disable action menu for simple users

Error uploading large files. 2808 3

I&160;am getting an error trying to upload a 180Mb file. After I&160;select the file to upload, then hit next, I&160;get an 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' after about 60 seconds. It works fine with&160;smaller files.&160;We are testing this module for out intranet dms. Any help

I just installed DMX and seems to be working good.
I am able to embed references to files using the direct navigate link.&160; Is there a way to just refernce the Full Path
Do I need to setup some kind of web redirect&160; Is this already available in the code to do that
This would let me do two things, one is it is much easier to use the Full Path naming then the longer direct link.&160; But second more importantly I can edit the description name in DMX and have the referencing link no...

TemplateView Paging problem with few modules in a page 2388 1

Hi Peter,
We have placed &160;4 TemplateView modules on a page, each pointing to a different root folder.
When paging to the second page in one module, all modules than display the same document list
of the second page of that module.
Using DMX 05.02.11

All Users not able to access direct link 2515 1

I created a subdirectory in DMX and uploaded a file to it.&160; Both the directory and the file are set to all users view in permissions.&160; I&160;then show direct link to the item and put that path on an all user view page on DNN.
When I&160;log into the site the web page successfully retrieves and displays the item.&160; When I&160;log out and go to that page it fails to get the item.

I am using DMX5 with a synchronised folder.
I noticed that viewing the logfile of the synchronisation job causes an out-of memory-exception. Mostlikely this function triggers the \Portals\_default\DMX\Log\Synch-YYYY-MM.LOG to be opened.
Of cause this file has grown obove 1 GB.
Is there a way to limit the size of the file

Hi,
We need only one instance of Document Exchange 5.3.11&160;on our portal wich allows users to manage their own folder. We use DNN&160;5.4.4
Then, we configured module with flexible root pattern area like:
&91User:Username&93 for root pattern
Auto create
Auto inherit permission
Add View permission

Problem with creating folders and Uploading files 2517 2

Hello,
we are using DotNetNuke Community Edition 05.05.01 (22) and Bring2mind.DMX_05.03.01.
When we are creating new folders or uploading files, those folders and files do not show up in the Document Exchange module.
The newly created folders and files&160;appear in the Document Exchange module&160;when I run the script 'Repair Structure'.
Any idea what is wrong with our installation and why the files and folders dont appear immediately

We encounter below issues using DMX&160;5.3.1 with IE6 in client's place:
1. When delete the folder in content panel, system still show deleted folder in left panel, need to refresh the page manually to get the change in left panel.
2. System should show confirmation if client create file which has the same name with existing file inside same folder.

I'm testing out the DMX&160;module using DNN&160;Community Edition 05.05.01.&160; I created a sync folder and I wanted to test out dropping files into that folder manually (outside of DNN) and then seeing them appear in DMX after the sync task runs.&160; That appeared to be working correctly until I started looking thru some of the other menu items to see what the module had to offer.&160; When I clicked back on the sync folder, the folder now showed 2 of the same file item even though I&1...

&160;Hi guys,
I noticed an odd behavior with the new upload screen (that allows multiple upload), The header menu (folder, file, hyperlink) disappears if I click on an option in left menu (Core Metadata, Custom, etc.). Same thing if I click without attaching any file.
Plus, when I am in the 'Core Metadata' screen and I click 'Previous' the menu option changes on left but the screens stays the same (see attached image).

Is it just me or the new custom template editor is extremely buggy&160;
-> The 'Save changes' button stays gray whatever I do in the UI.

I frequently experience timeouts when changing permissions and check the unify on all children checkbox. See stacktrace from eventviewer below.
