real bulk upload required 3592 5

Hello,
a real bulk upload is required since it is much easier for less experiences users to upload a list of small files rather than having them zip/unzip, and sometimes also split the archives.
On top, I have big issues uploading large files here - a bulk upload would help here too.

Sorting items in Template View 4739 9

Is there a way to sort items by something other than Title when in Template View I would like to be able to sort by Last Modifed or by a custom attribute, and either ascending or descending.
Another request/suggestion: when setting up&160;a token to display a custom attribute in Template View, the attribute name property is case sensitive. If this was case insensitive it&160;might save some confusion.

I&160;am using What's new addon configured to display recently modified documents uploaded to DMX with the custom control to only display Documents and these documents are pointing to respective details page.
My control name is CustomWhatsNew.ascx where I&160;am putting following control tag
This control is displaying the data as expected on Page Load. But if any post back triggered on the page is causing one problem. On posting back of the same page, this module is not displaying any...

I believe I've uncovered a bug in the way the TemplateView UI sorts custom attributes. &160;We have a custom attribute of the 'Integer' type, and when I click on the column to sort (either ascending or descending), it seems to look at the first digit only. &160;That is, it would come up with a sort order as shown below:

I'm after a way of displaying folders and documents exactly like you do on the Bring2Mind website under the downloads menu link, with folders which I can click and then the sub folders and files are displayed.

I am following the instructions for setting up the Search for DMX 5.02.07.&160; Everything is working except for one thing. &160;In the instructions it says to uncheck 'Change Extensions' in the Disk File Storage Provider settings. &160;No matter how many times I&160;uncheck this and hit update, the setting never changes and I have to run the script to restore the extension every time I or my team uploads a new document.&160; Any ideas why this setting change is not being saved

&160;I must be doing something wrong. I'm trying to copy documents from one folder to another. So on the right hand side, I right click on the document and select Copy. Then I go to the folder I want to put it in and right click on the folder and for the life of me I don't see a Paste option or anything similar to that.&160;

Hi Peter,
I have an issue with direct links and insufficent permissions. The document can be accessed by reg.users but when one is logged out an clicks the link, the visitor get redirected to the home page instead of the login page.
the main dmx module/page is accessible for anonymous users.

Hi -
I am looking for guidance/best practices in implementing DMX in an enviornment where I have a DNN implementation (e.g., www.mysite.com) that utilizes multiple child portals to reflect geographic regions (e.g., www.mysite.com/france and www.mysite.com/canada).
But ideally a single DMX instance will manage all the documents - with folders and categories doing the geographic filtering.
Is this possible&160; If not, any alternatives&160; I imagine I could get this done with multiple RSS ...

A few days ago I wondered how to access the value of the custom attributes as they are now present in the DMX's RSS XML.&160;There is a bug in the way the NewsFeed module handles the namespaced nodes (required for the custom attributes), so I recommend you to use the XML native module until the bug gets corrected.
Here is an XSLT to load with a module XML (and not News Feed) which will access the 3 first custom attribute of the DMX's RSS.
