We are using DMX 5.0.2 and metadata type of 'Hyperlink' to create links to a media player by passing a url with the DNN fileid. This works perfectly.
The problem is that we are unable to figure out how to track these links in the same manner as we do for document downloads. We've developed our own custom report page and SQL queries to pull the download reports but it doesn't appear that DMX is tracking when authenticated users select a hyperlink option. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Unable to change the Root Folder for modules 2525 1

Hi Peter
We are trying to configure DMX for a portal and having an issue with changing the default Root Folder to another folder.
After reading the documentation im not sure if I have misunderstood it, have a configuration issue, or a bug.
In any case on the DMX Module Settings screen, when we click on the 'Root Folder for module' dropdown, the dropdown expands but there is no other option than the default Document Exchange text.

The update has caused several problems for me in the past week.
&160;
- 'Delete' and 'Hard Delete' have disappeared off the toolbar, and are only accessible by right clicking.&160; I find myself clicking multiple times to get the menu to appear.
- The attributes (local) attached a folder need to be deleted before deleting the folder itself to prevent DMX from crashing or having the local attributes stuck in limbo somewhere.&160; There should be a 'local attribute map', where the user can s...

Unable to delete local attributes from search window 2911 3

Hey Peter,
In an attempt to test out the new local attribute function and the inherit ability, I have been left with some local attributes in the search window's drop down menu that I am unable to get rid of.&160; Even though all my folders are deleted now, three of my local attributes are 'stuck' in the drop down menu.&160; How do I clear this

Component Art Error in CatShortList Module 4020 2

Peter,
I've run into an error in the CatShortList module, which prevents me from accessing the settings.
It has to do with the change in the way you reference the Component Art Module.
DMX Version: 5.1
DNN Version: 5.0
CatShortList version: 2.1.1
Originally, it was throwing an error when I attempted to access the settings, and would kick me back to the page the module is in, with 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' - the log viewer shows a similar error to the one below ...

I registered DMX before we had a domain name. We recently applied a domain name, but emails sent by DMX have the link as an IP address instead of the domain name. Is there a way to change this to show the domain name instead of the IP address

Hi Peter,
Maybe you can point me in the right direction...&160; I'm getting this error when trying to add a new&160;folder item to a DMX Repository.&160; It is a general exeception so I'm not sure if it is directly related to DMX.&160; The funny thing is that the folder does get created and eventually shows on the folder list but not until later, usually after a page refresh or logging out then back in again.

Hi
I'm changing the templates in a module instance. I need to hide the link in the entry list of items and show it only for the admin or host. In my itemtemplate, I wrote the following code:

If user is in God mode, the link will show and otherwise not. The problem is that allways show both of them. When I use isingodmode in PageTemplate it works fine, but in ItemTemplate I can´t make it work.

When I examine the RSS feed that DMX generates, I see my email address assoiated with new entries, even though another user is the person who added those files to the repository.&160; Is that by design&160; I interpreted that name as the person who added the entry, but maybe it means something else&160; Thanks.
