Hello,
When I try to access the module settings I get the following error:

If I try and upload a new version of a file in 4.00.04, I get the following error:
A critical error has occurred.
Value cannot be null. Parameter name: name

I have imported some files to my test system. After importing I edit entrys and add them to different categories.
Selecting different categories on the left treeview always returns empty result set.

Subscribing
When attempting to subscribe to some files file or folders, not all, I get an error:
The data could not be loaded
I then do not receive a 'You have subscribed... notice. When I check I find I can now unsubscribe.
When unsubscribing I do not receive any notification of unsubscribing.
Editing Templates
Since the template editor is not saving, I tried it manually.
When I modify the xml in the Notifications template folder to include {{ and }} I still do...

The default text does not appear to have the {{ and }} around the valueof fields e.g.

Uploading more than one version of a file breaks downloads? 4073 4

Hi,
DMZ 04.00.03 on DNN 4.5.5.
If I upload an XLS file to DMX, it works fine when downloading i.e. I get the download dialog.
If I upload a second version of the XLS file so that I have 2 versions, if I try and download the latest version, it does not come up with the download dialog, but loads internet explorer which shows the contents of the file (binary mode)
This also happens if I click on the download icon within the details pane.

Peter, in v3 we turned approvals off for all folders. After our upgrade, some of our users are reporting all of their documents are going into the unapproved state. I've search high & low, but I cannot find where I can approval all unapproved content & then turn content approval off. I remember it being in v3 , but I just can't find it.

I have demonstrated the differences between DMX3 and DMX4 to several sets of end-users and managers and I am consistently getting the same kind of comments about usability:
Without the awareness that this interface is fundamentally different from a standard web interface they are lost on how to use it. Moreover, when using the AJAX controls users (who do understand how to use Windows Explorer) are frustrated by certain akward movements.

Hi,
Your documentation reads:
Upload of very large (up to 2GB) files
DMX includes a component that will allow the user to upload large files by streaming directly to hard disk instead of server memory.
Is there something that I have to do to activate this component When uploading a large file (18mb) I get a exception:
Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Maximum request length exceeded.
Also, no progress bar, as disploayed in your images, is showing when uploading files.

It looks like you've got the mult-select / delete working on v4.0.3. Thank you.
I noticed that when I delete a folder from file list it still shows up in the tree. Can you automatically do a refresh on the tree when a folder is deleted or created in the file view

Maybe I don't know what I'm doing, but when I upload a file using File>New Item..., unless I'm the admin, the file is locked and cannot be deleted/edited but only downloaded. The unlock button always says unlock no matter how many times I click it. Also, is there a place where you can see who has the file locked
I don't see it on the details tab (I assumed it would be in the log section)

I have an emergent situatuion with my client install. They are in a networked AD installation. If the users try to click on seperate documents at the same exact time it will open up the first document clicked for both users. This is regardless of what machine they are on and regardless of what area of the facility. I know it sounds impossible, but I tested the daylights out of this and it is the case. The current system of subscribing to an individual item is fine, but if an administrator puts a new item in the folder, the user won't know it is there unless they log in and take a look.

When a file is deleted it still shows in DMX. For most users, they should not be able to see deleted files.
I have not set any approval roles so I can sync with WebDAV. I don't know if this is affecting the ability to see deleted files.

We are having an issue that when you move folders in the tree,
The folder list panel does not show the new folder structure after the move. Refreshing the page is the only way.
There is a 1 ghost folder left behind with no files in it. This folder exists in the new locations with files, but has to be deleted from the original location.

After using DMX4 Pro for a few days I have some items that are very high on my wish list.
First, AJAX is cool but it is annoying to have to right-click, hover over the first tab (like Item), then hover over the menu and select the item. If the Item tab on the right-click menu is not necessary it would be a lot easier to use. When you have to do this operation over and over again it becomes clumsy.
Likewise, the right-click menu is cool but most web users do not expect it to work so I still wan...
