How to import existing folders 5322 11

I searched this forum and saw in a couple threads discussing the import option&160;under menu admin >> options >> import.&160; I can not find the import option in dmx 5.0.1.&160; Could you please provide instructions to import existing folders&160; The size of the folder is about 5 GB.

Is it possible to have a specific DNN role be able to manage folder permissions, other than Administrator
Use case is I would like to have DMX Administrator role that is not a DNN Administrator. In this scenario, Registered Users would not be able to edit permissions, they would be inherited from the parent folder BUT my DMX Admin role would be able to edit the attributes of folders and files, including the parent folders.
Can this be accomplished

DMX 5.2.2 & Letterbox Extension Issue? 3972 1

Hi Peter, I'm not sure if the error below is cause by 5.2.2 or Letterbox or a combination, I just tried letter box for the first time and I get the following immediately after a file upload (adding a file manually via the Ajax UI&160;works just fine)... DNN4.9.5.

Hi Peter, the 5.2 release notes include 'Enhancement: Flexible root allows user based folders', I found the root folder per module in the module settings, is this the enhancement
I was assuming there was a new option that would allow the creation and control of user based folders along with it. e.g. being able to limit which users/roles could have a user based folder etc. So either I'm misisng something or I guess you have to manually create a seperate page and DMX&160;instance for each indi...

Hi
we are working with DMX 5.02.01 and an ActiveSocial-Module (http://www.activemodules.com/products/activesocial.aspx).
From within the ActiveSocial-Module we have the possibility to add a file using the FCK-WYSIWYG-Editor. Which permissions do we have to set in order to able to add files managed through DMX Or isn't it possible to do this

We were currently running version 5.1 of the DMX&160;module and I upgraded to version 5.2 today. After doing so, I&160;wanted to check out the various storage provider settings. I accessed the Storage Settings and I was unable to see any UI for changing the settings for the Disk File Storage Provider.

Problem with RSS feed associated with synchronized folders 3328 1

I am evaluating DMX 5.01.03 with DNN 5.01.04.
I am using synchronized folders in order to preserve some functionality of other modules to find files through the DNN core file manager. When I enable RSS feeds for the DMX module, I am getting an XML parsing error in the results (see below). I tried to search your support forum to see if anyone else reported this problem, but didn't see anything.

Good day everyone,
I'm having the following problem in Document Exchange Professional 05.01.03
Issue 1) PDF with images (2.84 mb) upload= succesful, but download attempt by clicking on the download button gives error 'Insufficient data for an image' in IE 8
Issue 2) Also when I right click the download button and choose to 'save target as', the PDF will be downloaded, but when I open the downloaded PDF, it gives me the following error:

Our client is using DMX to distribute product manuals updates in PDF format.
Most of them work fine, but we have some of them that are not able to be downloaded.&160; There is no difference in how the PDFs were made.&160; Notably, Safari seems to be able to open them all, but they fail in IE and Firefox.

Unable to upload document/create folder in DMX 5.1 4191 8

Hi,
I have installed the DMX 5.1 module and am able to create and update folders using host login. But when I am trying to create a new folder using admin login (portal admin), It asks me to browse file or provide folder name and then when I click on next, it get's straight to the login page and it is recursive process.
I am not sure if I&160;am missing anything... Any help

Question about versions to keep.&160; Sometimes, after i've created a few versions, I've changed the 'VersionsToKeep' from say, '10'&160;to -1.&160; Based on queries from the database, I see that the old version still has '10' as the 'VersionsToKeep'.&160; Does that affect anything&160; Or does DMX&160;use the latest version's VersionToKeep parameter to decide whether to delete an item

Peter,
I&160;have a client who is using DMX 05.00.04. Each month they add new folders to various parent folders. They were wanting the parent permissions to automatically populate to the new child folder, but it is not. They are having to set the permission on each new folder. We tried setting the 'Unify permissions on children', but it did not seem to work. Is there a way to automatically assume parent permissions on new folders and files

I've just created a child portal on DNN using the template that I had exported from the parent which contained content.&160; The DMX module appeared on the page as expected, but no checkboxes are present in the Edit Permissions field.&160; Are there scripts I need to run to get the permissions to appear in the child portal&160; Please advise.
