The problem is that the documents are going to be worked on regularly by up to 100 users. There are 100 gb of files that I am planning to import into DMX. Hi Peter, I've had this up and running on a number of portals for a while without hitch. I have a series of network folders that are synced with DMX, last week the network started to act funny and the sync jobs that normally took 1-2 minutes (there are a lot of folders, synced one way to DMX Source leading, 4 times a day) now took 610 minutes. I am looking at the DMX Service Task and the DMX SyncFolder Task. Both are enabled and set to run every 5 minutes. However, when I log onto our site and look at the DotNetNuke schedule page, it appears that these tasks are not running when no one is logged onto the system and actively looking at content via DMX. On two occasions I have experienced a situation with our DMX installation where a user soft deletes a single file from DMX either through DMX itself or WEBdev all files and folders in DMX get deleted as well. Has anyone seen something like this before and can suggest a means to prevent it from happening in the future

Hello Peter / Support Team, Thanks for a great product. I wanted to ask whether it is possible to load files specific to individual users in my DNN site. Eg, each user will have their own secure location to store docs. I have an accountancy firm and they want to offer secure online storage for their clients. Each Client would be able to log in and download docs related them only. I presume that using roles not the answer when there could be 10 - 20 - 50 clients. Thanks, Mark

Last week I had success uploading a very large file (1.7gB) on my development server, thanks to assistance I received here. Now I have another interesting problem. I have a development and a demo server, both are Amazon cloud with essentially the same operating environment (server 2003, IIS6, ASP.NET 3.5). We are getting the following errors every time the Bring2mind.DNN.Modules.DMX.Services.Schedule.Maintenance runs. If I look in the schedule history, it is failing after 30 seconds every time. I have tried increasing the connect timeout in the SQL connection string and also the application pool pinging but without success. I can see that the progress bar does get all the way to the end, but it does not proceed to the next step of the DMX file add process but instead goes to my application's home page. If I create a new ID and the user opens the DMX module first before an initial folder/document sync up then everything works as desired.
