The manual doesn't contain instructions for IIS7 classic mode. The problem is: IIS Manager's Handler Mappings don't show local handlers, only inherited. So i'm not sure what to change.

Hi!
Are there any limitations to folder-names in WebDav One of my folders is called 'Verktøy' (Norwegian for Tools). The document in this folder opens as Read Only and there is no LOCK request in Fiddler. If I&160;rename it to Verktoy everything works fine.

Peter,
I have noticed that DNN 5.4.x is .NET 4 ready. I have tried using the newest framework and seems to work fine except WebDAV. Is there an element I'm missing I've have the 'bindingRedirect' in the web.config and added 'requestValidationMode='2.0' to the httpRuntime.

Hi, Peter:
Before I ask you the question, let me tell you what my system environment is: Win 2008 Server 64 bit, IIS 7, DNN 5.2.1, DMX 5.2.6, IE 8. This is my staging environment with a valid DMX license. We purchased DMX about 2 weeks ago, and have been testing it out on the staging environment.
I have read through all your installation documentation, and as many forum posts on this as possible, but did not find any answers. The 'Handler Mappings' section within IIS 7 is missing the entries f...

Authentication problems after AD Provider change 5799 3

We're using DMX 5.1.0 (5.2.2 on our test environment, with same problem) on a DNN 4.8.4 install.
WebDAV Authentication stopped working for us after upgrading our AD Authentication module.&160; We had previously been using the core DNN AD Authentication provider.&160; This provider creates DNN user accounts as 'domain\username'. (not sure if this is relevant info, just including it as a variable)
We recently changed&160;our AD provider to a module called Easy AD, which&160;is exponentially ...

WebDAV Stopped Working - Authentication? 5047 3
Started by jeff darco
I upgraded our install to 5.02.02 from 4.xx The installation did not show any errors.
Now, when trying to open folders in Explorer, I get an error saying:
\\portal\cleint1 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission.
The network path is not available.
&160;
This was working before the upgrade.&160;I have not been able to solve the problem using any notes I have found.

It would be very benefical if you could post what the system.webserver config section should look like in your web.config for Integrated mode.&160; I'm trying to use webdav on IIS7, 64 Bit, Windows 2008 and can't get it to work.&160; I get a 404 error.&160; I'm sure this is because the web.config is not correct but I can't seem to figure out what should be in the web.config under the the system.webserver for this to work.&160; Please help!

WebDAV Old Version 5119 5
Started by pmarkiewicz
I'm using version 05.01.03 of DMX&160;and version 4.9.0 of DNN.&160; Today, for the first time that I&160;can recall, someone opened a folder using Windows Explorer, and the file they clicked on was an OLD&160;version of the file.&160; The current version of the file opens when I&160;double click the file from the DMX&160;ajax interface, but the OLD&160;version shows up in the windows explorer method.
Have you ever seen this behavior, and how can I fix it&160;&160;Thank you.
