Uploading large files 4310 1

I'm not sure if this is specifically a webdav issue but I've been having some trouble getting large files to upload into the repository. I basically have a mix of content including office files, zip files, and the usually stuff --- but I also have some (not a lot) demo virtual machines which are very large in size (e.g. 8Gb).
Because they are so big, I would normally copy them up to a server separately and put them in a directory for downloading --- but I'd like to include them in t...

WebDAV Dates and Hard Delete 5029 1

Hi Peter,
I have been testing WebDAV to add and delete files.
First, I have found that using Windows Explorer (My Network Places WebDAV mapping) and copying a file to DMX, the file date and time changes to the time it was copied. However, if I use WebDrive and map a drive letter to the DMX WebDAV url then copied files retain their original date.
Next, when I delete a file, either using Windows Explorer or WebDrive the file gets deleted in DMX but it is not a hard delete.

I am testing synchronization using WebDrive to map the DMX Repository to a drive letter. Then I am using ViceVersa to do the synchronization (we have used ViceVersa for a long time so we know it works well on mapped drives).
I am seeing "leftover" files after a sync named "~vv1.tmp". When ViceVersa begins copying a file it intially names it "~vv1.tmp" and then changes the name.
When I look at the Details for the file in DMX it shows the correct file name but the N...
