Started by Marco Caballero
Hi, i was wondering if there's a way to upload a file structure that resides in a different server than the one that has DNN installed using the DMX module.
Hopefully there's a way to do this
Thanx!

Moving folders - Hierarchical View 3784 3
Started by Mike Willard
We have a few folders (collections) in the Library that need to be moved to another folder. When selecting the folder that we want to move to, all the folders are displayed in a 'flat' view. Most of our folders have 2 subfolders (BH and BTC) to distinguish between two divisions of our company. When seeing these folders in the flat view, it impossible to tell which BH or BTC you're moving to.
I've gone into the DB and changed these manually, but I'd like for our users to...

Error opening HTML and HTM files 4485 3
Started by Jim Matz
We are receiving the following error when we try to open HTML or HTM
files in DMX: Server cannot modify cookies after HTTP headers
have been sent
The error shows on the bottom of the document.
Does anyone know how i can get rid of this All other types of
files open up fine with no error. Also, the error does not occur
when a visitor opens the file, only when someone is logged in.
Thanks!

Unable to access files after changing to default website in IIS 4170 3
Started by keith motte
I had initially set up DNN in the DotNetnuke virtual directory and add DMX. I then created a repository and uploaded files, all worked fine. Then today we change the Default Web Site to the DotNetNuke directory and now I get the following error ' A critical error has occurred.
Access to the path '\\Repository\2005\file_20051129_161406_uCzCb_0.vsi' is denied.
I also get the following error when I update the module settings 'The specified external directory does not exist'

How to get hierarchical structure of files 4090 2
Started by craig salee
Hey, how can I get the hierarchical structure of the documents and containers that are added to the dmx module.
In other words, after I add a bunch of containers and documents to the module, I want to get the hierarchical structure of everything added so that I can create a module to graphically display all of this data in a diagram. Let me know. thanks!

Uploading files over 10 MB 4225 1
Started by Brett Juchem
I've noticed that the Documents Exchange Lite handles large documents swimmingly. I would imagine the Pro edition would do just the same. Does it cache every file in memory before it writes to disk or is it set to write directly to disk as it is uploaded

Denying File Types/Sizes 4157 1
Started by Brian Zalewski
Is it possible, out of the box, to limit certain file types from being uploaded. We're trying to make it so people don't fill up the storage with large movies or audio files. Otherwise, is it possible to limit by file size Thanks in advance.

Custom Attributes 4359 5
Started by James Tyo
I'm not sure this is the correct forum for this, but I have a question/suggestion on custom attributes.&160; As I worked with this, it seems the attributes are associate with a type, i.e. file, hyperlink, zipfile, etc.&160;&160; I tested by creating a custom attribute and had to associate with 'File'.
&160;Is it possible to have custom attributes associated with a particular file type such as MS Word, or even a custom file type&160;&160;&160; As an example could we define a custom file ...
